The Platform for Architecture-Neutral Dynamic Analysis, or PANDA, provides a flexible plugin-based framework for analysts to quickly develop instrumentation to help answer questions on how software behaves. The platform, which won a 2015 R&D 100 Award, was designed to facilitate the reverse engineering technique known as dynamic analysis, in which analysts study software as it executes on a system. Optical module for the Lunar Laser Communication Demonstration

The Lunar Laser Communication Demonstration (LLCD) space terminal's optical module is shown during laboratory system testing. On 17 October 2013, the system consisting of this space terminal and the LLCD ground terminals used a pulsed laser beam to transmit data over the 239,000 miles from the moon to Earth. The LLCD achieved data rates of 20 megabits per second (Mbps) on the uplink and 622 Mbps on the downlink. These rates are higher than rates achieved by the best radio systems ever fielded to the moon and much higher than those achieved during most typical space missions.
