Kenneth D. Senne - Biography

Dr. Kenneth D. Senne is a principal staff member of the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance and Tactical Systems Division. Since joining Lincoln Laboratory in 1972, he has led the development of surveillance systems while serving in several positions, including head of the Air Defense Technology Division from 1998 until 2002, when he became the Laboratory's first technology investment officer. As technolgoy investment officer, he was responsible for managing the strategic investment portfolio that includes the internal innovative research programs. In August 2006, his investment management function was integrated into the new Lincoln Laboratory Technology Office.

In 2002, Dr. Senne was elected a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers "for contributions to the development of real-time adaptive signal processing systems for defense applications."

Dr. Senne holds BS, MS, and PhD degrees in electrical engineering from Stanford University, where he conducted research on adaptive learning systems.
